I had to pop in to offer my personal "always gets me out of a funk" movie title: BELA LUGOSI MEETS A BROOKLYN GORILLA, which is here on the IA.
A really crappy, absurd film, but always cracks me up. As I once told my other half, "This is so f-ing stoopid but I love it to pieces! Pass the pizza and ice cream! And tell the cat to stop biting my toes!"
Anyway, it may be worth a chuckle...or not.

Any of the Beverly Hillbilies, the Andy Griffth show(the one with the goat)the Dick vav Dyke show(avoid the one with Buddy's brother)Petticoat Junction (if it is still here)retrovison theater presents Who's on First(that one always cracks me up) and any of The Colgate Comedy Hour.
